Malta is one of the three inhabited islands placed in the center of the Mediterranean Sea, called Malta, Pleasure and Cumin. They are beautiful and charming islands with landscapes dominated by low hills with steep coasts.
The Capital is La Valletta. The national language is the Maltese, though the English is recognized as the official language and many Maltese also speak Italian. The currency is Euro. Malta is a parliamentary democracy which obtained the independence of the United Kingdom in 1964.
Malta is the biggest of the three islands and the cultural center. Malta has a Mediterranean climate with soft and rainy winters and warm dry summers.
In Malta you can find the hypogeum known in the whole world and declared patrimony of the humanity by the UNESCO, prehistoric temples and huge palaces, numerous of interesting museums, entertainment at the opera, theater and ballet and many more.
